As well you will study past and present artists' movements and learn to create/find meaning through the 2D art process. You will also acquire both observational and imaginative drawing skills. The course is designed to explore drawing, painting, and printmaking techniques developing technical skills. You will use creative problem solving and critical thinking to complete projects. This course explores the elements of art, the principles of design and the relationship of the "visual arts” to daily living. This course is a combination of production, criticism, history, visual culture.
